Harmanpreet Kaur, who scored not out 171 runs off 115 balls in ICC Women World Cup Semifinals and made India won the match against 6 times champion Australia, is a proud alumnae of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya.  


Physical Education & Sports Department was established in 1980.  We have total 37 Games.  There are 37 Coaches for various games.  We won GNDU overall general sports championship trophy for a total number of 22 times which is the highest among men and women institutions from 1977 to 1986, 1999 to 2000 and 2011 to 2016.  We have won GNDU overall general sports 1st runners up trophy from 2012-13 to 2014-15 and we also won GNDU overall general sports 2nd runners-up trophy 2015-16.

HMV possesses sufficient arrangement for various Sports Games, Vast Playground and rich sports Infrastructure.  Our college is called Nursery of International and National Players.
