HMV Collegiate
Sr.Sec. School celebrated Earth Day
by organizing an event on Electronic Waste and Plastic Waste Management under
the able guidance of Principal
Prof. Dr. Sud ,C.A.
The judges for
the event were Dr. Seema Marwaha, Head Zoology Deptt., Mrs. Saloni Sharma,
Associate Prof. in Physics and Dr. Rakhi Mehta, Asstt. Prof. in Fine Arts. First prize in working model was given to
Bird feeder made by Dhriti and Kamni of SSC II, second prize to vacuum cleaner
made by Amanjot and Jaskeen. In still model,
first prize to tree holder made by Simran and Harshita (SSC II Arts) and second
prize to earth scenario by Saloni and Kanika of SSC II Non Medical, consolation
prize to Divya and Konica SSC I Arts for Dress from Waste Material, Boat made
by Ramandeep and Birds and water made by Lovenya.
Principal Dr.
Ajay Sareen was overwhelmed and astounded by efforts of students for their
creativity. She admired the budding
scientists for their very first step of start-ups. Mr. Y.K. Sud, chief guest apprised the
students about pollution of environment due to these waste materials. Pollution caused by plastic in sea water is
very much dangerous for survival of sea animals. Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal emphasized
on the measures taken in daily life to save our earth and she told that
collegiate school provides such platform to the students and ensures about
their holistic growth. All faculty
members of school were present.
ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਕਾੱਲਜੀਏਟ ਸੀ.ਸੈ. ਸਕੂਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਰਥ-ਡੇ ਮਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪੋ. ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਲੈਕਟਾਨਿਕ ਵੇਸਟ ਤੇ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਵੇਸਟ ਪਬੰਧਨ 'ਤੇ ਮਾੱਡਲਸ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਪਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ। ਬਤੌਰ ਮੁਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਲੋਕਲ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸੀ.ਏ ਵਾਈ.ਕੇ.ਸੂਦ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। +1 ਤੇ +2 ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ 35 ਸਟਿਲ ਤੇ ਵਰਕਿੰਗ ਮਾੱਡਲਸ ਪਦਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਜਿਨ•ਾਂ ਨੇ ਈ-ਵੇਸਟ ਤੇ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਵੇਸਟ ਦੇ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਿਕ ਉਪਯੋਗ ਨੂੰਦਰਸ਼ਾਇਆ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਪਰਿਦਿਸ਼ 'ਚ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਾਧਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੇਰਹਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਪਯੋਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਹਰਿਤ ´ਾਂਤੀ ਨੂੰਅਪਨਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪਾਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੌਧੇ ਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਗਜ਼ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਜੂਨਿਅਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।
ਸਮਾਰੋਹ 'ਚ ਬਤੌਰ ਜੱਜ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਾ ਮਰਵਾਹਾ, ਸੀਮਤੀ ਸਲੋਨੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਰਾਖੀ ਮੇਹਤਾ ਨੇ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਵਰਕਿੰਗ ਮਾੱਡਲ 'ਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਇਨਾਮ +2 ਦੀ ਧਿਤੀ ਤੇ ਕਾਮਿਨੀ ਨੂੰਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਨ•ਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਰਡ ਫੀਡਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਦੂਜਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਅਮਨਜੋਤ ਤੇ ਜਸਕੀਨ ਨੂੰਵੈਕਯੂਮ ਕਲੀਨਰ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸਟਿਲ ਮਾੱਡਲ 'ਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਟੀ ਹੋਲਡਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਤੇ ਹਰਸ਼ਿਤਾ ਨੂੰਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਦੂਜਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਦਿਸ਼ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਲੋਨੀ ਤੇ ਕਨਿਕਾ ਨੂੰਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਵੇਸਟ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਨਾਲ ਡੈਸ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਦਿਵਯਾ ਤੇ ਕਨਿਕਾ, ਕਸ਼ਤੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਵਨਦੀਪ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਛੀ ਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਲਾਵਯਾ ਨੂੰਸਾਂਤਵਨਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਮੈਡਮ ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੇ ਨਵੋਦਿਤ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਿਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਨ•ਾਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੋਚ ਅਚੰਭਿਤ ਕਰ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ। ਮੁਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਸੀ ਸੂਦ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਨ•ਾਂ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਪਦੁਸ਼ਿਤ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ 'ਚ ਵੱਧ ਰਿਹਾ ਪਦੁਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਖ਼ਤਰਨਾਕ ਹੈ। ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਸੀਮਤੀ ਮੀਨਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਿਆਲ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਪੋਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਐਚਐਮਵੀ ਸਕੂਲ 'ਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਤਰ•ਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਚ ਪਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
