Giving the wings
to the young designers the Incubation Cell of the HMV organized a mentoring workshop of Fashion Designing
students. This is a first of its kinds
workshop in the region said Ms. Winky Singh the mentor who is owner of Ministry
of Design, a unique boutique at New Delhi.
Ms. Winky also has the distinction of training the Tihar Jail inmates
for designing. The students have been
provided a platform to work while they study and by the time they will finish
their degree they will be earning a handsome amount and be ready for a start-up
while they are studying. They are
getting trained and goods they produce will be bought by the mentoring company.

Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated Dr. Ramnita Saini Sharda, Incharge
Incubation Cell and Mrs. Navneeta Coordinator of the mentoring programme for
taking this initiation which will not only give an impetus to the students to
earn while they learn but also get economic freedom once they have finished
their degree.
