To mark World Photography Day, A photography exhibition "Lens
Queen" was organised by the department of Mass Communication & Video
Production of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya
under the able guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Mrs. Ajay Sareen. On this
occasion, Ms. Kanika Chaddha, a renowned photographer was the chief guest.
Officiating Principal Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur Dean Academic & Dr. Ekta Khosla,
Dean Examination & Incharge Kaushal Kendra welcomed her with a planter.
Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur encouraged the students for their hard work &
dedication. She said that exhibition gives students an opportunity to showcase
their talent in the field of photography. The exhibition covered various types
of photography include native, buildings, fashion & portraits. Ms. Kanika Chaddha
said that these kinds of exhibition & Competition help in recoginizing the
budding talents of amateur photographers. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Mrs. Ajay
Sareen congratulated the staff & students on World Photography Day. Mrs.
Rama Sharma, HOD, Mass Communication & Video Production applauded the
efforts of students. She said that this platform has provided a chance to the
students to showcase their talent through lens. These kinds of projects are
beneficial for the students as they make them explore the outer world more
dedicatedly. The first prize was won by Jyot Sifat, Radhika got 2nd
& 3rd Prize was won by Pavneet Kaur. Diksha Thakur, Priya &
Jasleen got consolation prizes.
On this occasion Mrs. Jyoti Sehgal & Mr. Shailender Kumar was also
present.
