The starter Programme of Hindi was organised by Hans
Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.)
Ajay Sareen. During this programme, a session on promotion of Hindi language
was organised through "Skype" in which Dr. Sushma Malhotra from
Forest Hills High School, Newyork had a talk with the students regarding the
promotion of Hindi language. She said the main motive behind this talk was to
create an interest for the language in Non-Hindi students so that they can
understand the language whenever they visit India. Secondly, they should also
know the heritage & culture behind each & every word of language.
Applauding the efforts of the Hindi Department, Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that each & everyone of us must speak and
promote Hindi Language. Dr. Jyoti Gogia, (Head, Hindi Deptt.) said that the aim
of this talk was to promote Hindi language at the International level. The
students of the college gave information about Indian festivals and culture of
Non Hindi students through skype. The queries of Non Hindi students were also
solved during the talk.
Dr. Sushma Malhotra thanked Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.)
Ajay Sareen for her support. On this occasion Mrs. Pawan Kumari, Mrs. Anuradha
Thakur were also present. The programme concluded with National Anthem.
