The Freudian Psychological Society
of Hans Raj Mahila Maha organised a workshop on the topic “Understanding the
special child”. The resource person was
renowned councsellor Mrs. Pallavi Khanna. Head of psychology department Dr.
Ashmeen Kaur welcomed her with a planter. Dr. Ashmeen Kaur gave a welcome note
followed by the introduction of the guest. Mrs. Pallavi Khanna gave an
informative presentation and ended it with a very strong thought of creating a
space for the special children in the society and making them a part of it with
an understanding attitude. It included an interactive session too where
students voluntarily participated. She also told about the privileges given to
them by the government.
Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen
appreciated the efforts of the department that we should give love and
affection to the children with special needs. The stage was conducted by Ms.
Rupam Prashar and Ms. Muskan Sidana. Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Ashmeen
Kaur. On this occasion, Dr. Venus Goyal, Ms. Anjana and Ms. Deepsha were also
present.
