Chandrayaan Vipnet club of Physics department
organized visit to Apahaj Aashram and Pingla Ghar to observe “International day
to older persons” under the able guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen
in collaboration with NCC unit of the college. To inculcate the moral values
among the students and to make them realize their responsibilities towards the
elder generation, around 200 students and NCC cadets
visited Apahaj ashram and Pingla Ghar. Fruits and other eatable things were
distributed among the residents. Students spent quality time with the residents
and they blessed the students. Students found the visit to be very satisfactory
and they were motivated to have more such visits with their family. The
students were accompanied by Head of Physics department Mrs. Saloni Sharma, NCC
incharge Mrs. Purnima Sharma and Mr. Sushil Kumar.
