The Youth Red
Cross Society of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized an awareness campaign
on novel coronavirus ( covid-19) under able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr
(Mrs) Ajay Sareen. Red cross volunteers
Ishpreet,Khushi Shahnaz,Kashish,Rashi and Satinder made the college
students aware about the graveness of coronavirus around the world and
suggested the precautionary measures to be taken to prevent it. They advised
the students to stay at home if they are unwell and also to maintain proper
hygiene. They must try to avoid close contact with the infected ones. Students
prompted them that facts not fear of coronavirus should be shared. They spread
the message that the precaution is better than cure in case of coronavirus in
form of small presentations.
Charts and
posters showing the facts about corona virus and precautions to be exercised
were made by Red Cross volunteers and were exhibited in college premises.
This awareness campaign was appreciated by Principal Dr.(Mrs) Ajay Sareen
and she advised the students to avoid mass gatherings and stay healthy and
hygienic. The campaign was supervised by Mrs. Deepshika ( Incharge of Red Cross
Society),Dr (Mrs.) Santosh Khanna, Mrs. Simmi Garg and Dr Meenakshi Arora.
