In a unique, first of its
kind initiative, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar has offered other
institutions to make use of its e-content developed during lockdown days.
Principal Dr Ajay Sareen said that HMV has been running its own e-media centre
and e-learning centre for the past two years and has been actively involved in
online teaching even before lockdown period. However, during the lockdown
period the institution relied totally on online teaching. Principal Dr Sareen
told that 95.6% students of the college were taught via online mode during the
period and students expressed their satisfaction over the completion of
syllabus and revision done via online mode. She told that other institutions that
do could not develop e-content of the remaining syllabus may make full and free
use of e-content developed by HMV. A dedicated team of teachers will make
e-content available to all those who need it. For this, a request may be sent
to hmv.asr@gmail.
Principal Dr. Sareen said that
Academic Social Responsibility (ASR) is one of the bastions of our college and
we as an institution deem that our task engages something more than simply
passing on of knowledge and skills to the students. As an energetic driving
force of social change, HMV takes on voluntary actions in the conception of
mores of social responsibility in society through a multitude of activities
that address welfare of the society.
