The PG Department of
Commerce and Management of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is offering a number
of Professional and Vocational Courses aimed at the holistic development of the
students. These include B.Com (Financial
Services), BBA, B.Voc (Banking and Financial Services), and B.Voc (E-Commerce
and Digital Marketing). B.Com (Financial
Services) is a three year degree course in Commerce specially designed
to impart detailed knowledge to the students in the field of financial services
i.e. Banking, Insurance, Consumer finance, etc. and enhances their skills and
prepares them for employment in
financial services sector. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is
open to students from all the streams i.e. Arts, Commerce and Science. The course hones the management and
leadership skills of the students and prepares them to perform managerial and
entrepreneurial roles. There is plethora of job opportunities available to
student after doing BBA in the field of finance, marketing, sales, human
resource management etc. Besides these professional courses, the college is
also offering vocational courses aimed at enhancing the employability skills of
students. B.Voc (Banking and Financial Services) is a three year degree
programme wherein the students are given hands on experience in the field of
banking and financial services through the method of simulation labs and
industrial training. The students of the said course get certification from Sector
Skill Council also i.e. BFSI (Banking Financial Services and Insurance). B.Voc
(E- Commerce and Digital Marketing) is a job oriented vocational training
program which gives great importance to practical learning and knowledge. This
course helps in developing Entrepreneurial skills and knowledge needed to
develop start-up businesses. It helps the students in managing social media and
digital marketing techniques successfully, learning the Real-world application
of digital marketing and e-commerce methods and how to market yourself and your
products more effectively & efficiently. The students gain an understanding
on the importance of security, privacy, and ethical issues as they relate to
E-Commerce. The Department has number of industrial linkages with a number of
institutions for all the courses.
