HMV offering vocational subjects to the students in graduation


Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is an institution of learning, understanding and empowering women. For the past ninety three years, this college has produced a large number of empowered women who have led the country ahead in many fields. HMV is offering a wonderful platform for honing the skills of the talent and skills of the students. Under B.A./B.Sc., HMV is offering vocational subjects to the students which are practical subjects and makes them self-sufficient. These subjects are Computer Application, Journalism and Mass Communication, Fashion Designing and Garment Construction, Cosmetology, Mass Communication and Video Production, Bioinformatics and Biotechnology. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen told that vocational education is that education which prepares students to work in various jobs. Vocational education is aimed at one field only. These subjects provide job-focused training for specific roles or careers. It aims to the acquirement of qualifications related to a certain profession, art or employment so that the students are able to exercise a profession, art or activity independently. She further added that HMV is having all the necessary infrastructural facilities to impart vocational training to the students in the said courses.
