Live Workshop on Music Vocal, Music Instrumental and Indian Classical Dance by HMV on 17th June



Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is going to organize live workshop on Music Vocal, Music Instrumental and Indian Classical Dance on 17 June at 5 PM. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen told that Music Vocal, Instrumental and Dance departments of the college are very much vibrant. She said that there are ample opportunities for students who are having passion for music but cannot take music as a subject. The students can join short term courses in which they can learn western music, folk music and different musical instruments like sarangi, guitar, sitar, harmonium, tabla, dhol. etc. They can also opt music as add on course. The students of music department has the opportunity to participate in different inter college competitions. The students of the college have got national and international recognition by performing various items in various famous functions. The students can opt a career as musician, music producer, music composer, TV and Radio artist, teacher, etc. Dr. Sareen told that Dance department of the college offers graduation course as well as different types of dance classes undertaken by the department like Bhangra, Giddha, Rumba, Salsa and many other forms. Coordinator of the workshop Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal told that the experts of the workshop will be Dr. Prem Sagar, HOD Music Vocal department, Dr. Santosh Khanna, HOD Music Instrumental department and Dr. Pooja Manhas, HOD, Dance department.
