Mathematics of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya
organized Online National Quiz
Competition on Mathematics under the able guidance of Principal Prof.
Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen who always motivate to hold such events. Mrs. Gagandeep, Head of Mathematics Department
was the Incharge of whole event and Co-Incharges were Mrs. Deepali, Dr. Gaurav Verma
and Ms. Shalini of Mathematics Department.
The quiz competition
started at 10.00 am and overwhelming response was there from different parts of
the country. 481 Students of 18 states of India participated in the online
quiz. The main objective behind Online
Mathematics Quiz is to help students to increase knowledge by solving different
types of problems in short span of time. The students who score 80% and
more marks will be awarded with
E-certificates as told by Mrs. Gagandeep, Head of Department Mathematics. Out
of 481 students who participated, 72 students passed with 80% and more marks.
Two participants Mr. Gaurav Aggarwal of B.Sc Honours Mathematics , Sem V of
GNDU, Amritsar and Ms. Shikha Verma PGT Maths of GGSSS Barwala, Chandigarh scored
100% marks. The event was huge success and Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen congratulated the department for organizing such event.
