She voiced her views that all successful ventures require careful planning and execution of ideas. Our country is possessed with abundance of talent and its our duty to channelize their energy towards creativity so as to build up a beautiful tomorrow.

Dr. Anjana Bhatia introduced the concept of the workshop and briefed about the MHRD,s motive of Innovation council which is prompted towards training the youth of the country.

Ms. Leena Chabbra gave an intensive and detailed presentation on Entrepreneurship phases breaking up it into five phases which were Idea Generation, Opportunity Evaluation, Planning Process, Company Formation and Execution Process. She acquainted the students with the basic steps to start any business by first of selecting an idea and then studying the target audience, market viability proceeding towards the evaluation of opportunity and execution of ideas. The first real task for a beginner is to think of a good idea because it is the idea that will be the motivation to launch the business and it is the soul of entrepreneurship. Then its important to think about the profitability and viability of the idea over the long term in order to develop a successful business.

Moving from generation of ideas to its execution is a way full of struggle. It involves collection of resources; financial as well as human resources. It requires funds, staff and facilities. After a venture is successfully established the next step is to sustain it for long. This needs regular updations of technology and keeping abreast with the latest trends in the market.

Ms. Leena also emphasized that the success of any business is determined by efficient team work and hence all the members need to work in unison directed towards the goal.

The inquisitive students asked many questions to the Resource Person. The vote of thanks was presented by Mrs. Rishav Bhardwaj HOD Fashion Designing and the workshop was moderated by Mrs. Navneeta. The Innovation ambassadors Ms. Sonia Mahendru, Dr. Rakhi Mehta, Mrs. Alka, Mrs. Lovleen Kaur, Mrs. Protima Mander,  Mr. Ashish Chadha,  Mr. Vidhu Vohra also attended the workshop.
