The
NSS Unit of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar participated in Road
Safety Month-2021 under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen. This is being organised by Youth and Sports Ministry of Government of
India from 18th January to 17th February , 2021. The main
theme of this campaign was “Road Safety, Life Safety”. The main objective of
this campaign was to ensure the citizens about road safety. The whole campaign
was organised under the guidance of NSS Programme Officer Mrs. Veena Arora, Dr.
Anjana Bhatia and Ms. Harmanu Paul.
Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that road accident is a matter of grief at
present times. We lose many of our dear ones in road accidents. It is the need
of the hour that we should be aware about road safety and we should always try
to make others aware about the same. Life is very precious, so we should
protect it. Programme Officer Veena Arora also said that natural disasters are
not controllable but with our awareness and intelligence we can save all from
those accidents. Dr. Anjana Bhatia also gave instructions to follow strictly
the rules of road safety. Ms. Harmanu Paul also encouraged NSS Volunteers to
follow the rules strictly.

safety rally and encouraged all the volunteers. On this occasion Asstt.
Programme Officers Mrs. Pawan Kumari and Dr. Meenu Talwar were also present.
