In order to celebrate the phenomenal accomplishments
of students, the ceremony of honours, Achievers’
Day 2021 was celebrated at HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School with exuberance
under the influential guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The event commenced with an invocation to the
Almighty by kindling the lamp of knowledge and wisdom. Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and School Co-ordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal accorded green
welcome to the worthy Chief Guest of the occasion. Dr. Varinder Bhatia, Vice-Chairman of Punjab
School Education Board and honourable Guest of Honour Sh. Irwin Khanna, (Member
Local Committee). On this occasion Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen lauded the
achievers for their remarkable achievements and motivated them to put their
heart and soul in whatever they do and also have belief in themselves and their
hardwork. Thereafter, School Co-ordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal
presented Annual Report of the session 2020-21 highlighting the academic
achievement of the year. Co-curricular activities, important days and occasions
celebrated and achievements in sports.
She concluded saying that the institution is dedicated and committed
towards excellence in education. Hon’ble
Chief Guest, in his address advised students to explore their hidden
potential. Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen,
Co-ordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal alongwith the dignitaries felicitated the
prize winners with Trophies, Certificates and Books . Around 120 students were
awarded for their prodigious achievement in scholasrtic and Co-scholastic
activities. On this occasion, 07 office
bearers and 06 class representatives were also honoured with trophies and certificate.
Sh. Irwin Khanna, while addressing ther students, told them about the
responsibilities they are going to shoulder in coming future and inspired them
to fulfil their duties and responsibilities wholeheartedly. Afterwards, worthy
Chief Guest, Dr. Varinder Bhatia shared some personal life experiences with the
students and told students about his journey of life. He also inspired students
to have some concern for environment and not to be indifferent towards nature
and insisted on the point to be focused
on their goal in life.
The contented
students were highly palpable and were reveling with joy and happiness for
being honoured by the esteemed personalities. The event ended with the recital
of National Anthem. Stage was energetically and successfully conducted by Dr.
Anjana Bhatia. On this occasion faculty members from HMV as well as Collegiate
School section were also present.
