International Women’s Day
has been organized in Hans Raj Mahila MahaVidyalaya under the aegis of
Innovation Cell and Women Empowerment Cell as per the guidance of Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. As per tradition of HMV the event started with
DAV gaan and lightning of lamp. RJ Pak Pak Deepak (Radio Jockey from Radio Mirchi 98.3 ) was guest of the day and was given a
green welcome by Principal Prof.

Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated Dr. Anjana
Bhatia and Mrs. Protima Mander who organized the event in beautiful manner. Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen said that the vision behind these kinds of events will be done only if
we bide by the ideas generated in the event itself. Both men and women should
get equal rights. Women are the pillars of society.
RJ Pak Pak Deepak (Radio Jockey from FM ) entertained everybody
with his humorous jokes and ideas. He also talked about women empowerment and
said that women are strong than men and they should be respected by head and
heart. They should be given equal status as men.
On this occasion few
games and cultural activities was exhibited by Dr. Prem Sagar, Dr. Harpreet Singh
and Mr. Ravi Maini with their team which made the environment very happy. They made the audience enjoy through songs,
games and beautifully choreographed parody by male staff of the college. Two
students of Students Council Mansi and Gurkeerat presented their poem under the
guidance of Dean Students Council Mrs. Urvashi. The whole event ended with lots
of fun and frolic.
