Under the
able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, HMV Collegiate Sr.
Sec. School, Jalandhar organized Health Mission under the canopy of “Swasth
Rahega India Tabhi Toh Aage Badega India Mission” to celebrate 75th
Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The main objective was to create awareness among the
young masses regarding health by providing valuable tips on healthy lifestyle.
On this occasion, 75 students performed various yogasans in the shape of 75 and
spread the message that health is the real asset. The institute also arranged
Cleanliness and Energy Conservation Mission too in which 75 students organized
a rally in the college by holding placards in their hands to convey the remarkable message of
maintaining and conserving major sources of energy-water, air and
environment. The beautiful shape of India
was displayed by the students and the message to maintain cleanliness was given
to every citizen of India with slogans and captions written on their placards
under the mission Clean India Run India. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen applauded
the wonderful efforts of the students and encourage them to participate more in
such activities and said that every citizen must contribute to create
cleanliness under Swachh Bharat Mission. Along with this, she put emphasis to
conserve energy resources and make the world greener and safer. Through her
words, she conveyed to make Yoga an integral part of our lives as only the
healthy citizens can make the nation empowered and developed. Yoga maintains
physical as well as mental purity. She
congratulated Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal, School Coordinator for organizing such
activities which boost the morale of the students and encourage them to become
responsible citizens of the nation. Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal appreciated the
enthusiasm of the students and said that these sorts of activities help in
holistic development of the students and make them devoted, committed and
responsible citizens of the world.
