Planning Forum of PG Department of
Economics of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized PPT and Debate
Competition under the guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The
topic for the PPT and debate competition were “Is Digital Technology making
children’s life better?” “Literacy a social action in city” and “Future of
Media Literary”. In the judgement panel,
Dr. Shallu Batra, Head of Economics Department and Dr. Mamta, Head of English
Department were there. Stage conduct was done by students Ms. Akshita and Ms.
Aman. The students from various streams participated and expressed their views.
In PPT competition Khushi from B.Com Sem 3 won prize and in Debate Competiton
team of Jasraj and Harleen got 1st position. Lisha, Avleen, Manvi,
Ritika and Pranjali won appreciation awards. Varous views about the digital
literacy were given by students. .They also explain some flaws of digital
literacy like obesity, stubbornness, lack of physical activities and many more.
But everything comes with some disagreement or flaws. Motivation for
participating in such event was given by Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen. She told the students about the importance of media literacy as well as
Artificial Intelligence. On this occasion, faculty members, Mrs. Chandrika, Ms.
Jyotika Minhas, Ms. Harmanu Paul and Ms. Bhawna were also present.
