HMV Organized a Seminar on Cancer Awareness

 

The Red Cross Society and R. Venkataraman Chemical Society of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized a Seminar on “Cancer Awareness” on the occasion of Cancer Day under the able guidance of Principal, Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The coordinator of the Seminar were Mrs. Deepshikha and Mrs. Pawan Kumari. The Resource Person of the Seminar was Dr. Naveen Nanda, Senior Consultant Radiation Oncology. He was welcomed with Green Planter. In his address he gave information about the symptoms of cancer and its medication. He said that we can win over this disease with caution and awareness. He told students that with the help of Yoga and Meditation, we can keep ourselves for from such diseases. He encouraged the students to adopt qualities of forgiveness, thankfulness and unconditional love in their life so that they can lead a happy life. He stressed on physical and mental exercise and leave stress in life. Principal, Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen thanked Dr. Naveen nanda for giving such useful information. She said that this information will prove to be very useful for all of us. Mrs. Deepshikha presented vote of thanks. Stage was conducted by Secretary Red Cross Society Ms. Yashika. On this occasion Dr. Vandana and Dr. Jasbir Kaur were also present.
