The Placement Cell of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya,
Jalandhar organised a pre-placement talk for the final year student of UG and
PG under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Mr.
Jagjit Bhatia, the Placement Officer welcomed the resource persons Mr. Abhishek
Kumar, Mr. Sankalp and Mr. Akash Kumar from Nasscom; Mr. Kartik Bhardwaj from
CISCO; Mr. Santhosh Rebello from Salesforce with the formal words. The seminar
commenced with Mr. Abhishek Kumar giving the brief introduction of Nasscom -
Transforming the Tech Industry in India. Mr. Sankalp continued the talk by
giving the importance of Nasscom platform as digital talent has become critical
for India. The only crucial motive is to cover up the gap between the academics
and job requirements. Later on, the session was taken over by Mr. Santhosh from
Salesforce through the virtual meet where he introduced the gathering with the
“Salesforce - The Customer Company”. He also described the various SF certified
programs and courses on NASSCOM Future Skills Prime. Furthermore, Mr. Kartik
Bhardwaj from CISCO laid emphasis on Cyber Security and introduced Cyber
Security as one the crucial job opportunities in this digital world. The whole
seminar was interactive and engaging. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen congratulated Placement Office
for this initiative. She said that it is our aim to provide placement to all
the students. At the end of the talk, Mr. Jagjit Bhatia gave vote of thanks to
all the resource persons, teachers, supporting staff and the audience and
concluded the session by motivating and encouraging students to get enrolled
into various placements and certified courses.
