Department, Student Council and Music Vocal Department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha
Vidyalaya organized a ceremony to pay tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru
and Sukhdev under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.
In the morning, 100 NSS Volunteers and Sports Women of the college organized a
Cycle Rally along with Programme Officer Dr. Veena Arora, Mrs. Navroop, Dr.
Ashmeen Kaur, Dr. Navneet Kaur and Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur. They all were reciting
“Inqulab Zindabad”, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru Amar Rahe. They took a round
of whole college. All the teaching and non-teaching staff members paid tribute
to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev by lighting candles in front of
their pictures. The students of Music Department sang patriotic song under the
guidance of Dr. Prem Sagar. The students of Student Council performed Nukkad
Natak directed by Dr. Veena Arora showcasing the life and courage of Shaheed
Bhagat Singh. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that we all should
learn from his short but courageous life.
