A
Nostalgic Farewell “Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna” 2024, for the final year students of
Computer Science, Science, and Commerce, was organized in the premises of Hans
Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar. The ocassion was conducted successfully
under the direction and leadership of dexterous Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen. The event was commenced with
lighting the holy lamp and following the DAV Gaan. In her address, Principal
Dr. Sareen blessed all the students present over there and wished for their successful
career ahead. Principal Sareen advised students to participate positively in
the welfare of society. The occasion was made memorable by students. Students
of Undergraduate and Postgraduate classes presented captivating performances
through Dance, Music, Singing, and Modelling. Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dr. Meenakshi
Duggal Mehta and Mr. Gullagong acted as judges for the event. On the basis of
performances, students were judged and they were presented various titles and
awards. Among the students of Postgraduate classes, Km. Amrit was given the
title of Ms. Farewell while Ms. Teena and Ms. Aditi were awarded with first and
second runner up respectively. On the other hand, Ms. Kriti was entitled with
Ms. Farewell from undergraduate classes while Kamalpreet kaur and Amanpreet
Kaur became successful for attaining the position of first and second runner up
respectively. In addition, Ms. Jasleen as Ms. Glem, Ms. Gaurvi as Ms.
Technophile, Ms. Sehajdeep as Ms. Dynamic, Ms. Anamika as Ms. Charming, Ms.
Mannat as Sweet Voice and Ms. Yashika was given the title of Ms. Inventor. On
this occasion, Principal Dr. Sareen released various newspapers. Newspapers
‘Zeal and Wellness’, ‘Sanvaad’, and ‘Tech. Watch’ were released by the
Deparment of Sports, Humanities and Computer Science respectively. On this eve,
Dean Publication Mrs. Ritu Bajaj, Sh. Gurmeet Singh, Dr. Ravinder Mohan Jindal,
Mrs. Lovleen, Dr. Deepti Dhir, Mrs. Protima Mander, Dr. Sandeep Kaur, Dr.
Navneet and Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur were present there. The entire programme was
organized by Mrs. Binoo Gupta, Dr. Sangeeta Arora and Dr. Shweta Chauhan. The
stage was conducted by Mrs. Sangeeta Bhandari, Dr. Kajal Puri and by the
students of ‘Student Council.’ Dr. Shweta Chauhan delivered a vote of thanks at
the end of the event.
