Interactive Session Organized at HMV

 

The Staff Welfare Society of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized an Interactive Session for faculty and staff by officials of Postal Department and HDFC Bank. The topic of the session was “Saving Schemes”. Dr. Shallu Batra and Dr. Seema Khanna welcomed the officials with Green Planter. The resource persons were Sh. Vishal Mahajan, Public Relation Inspector, Jalandhar and Mr. Bharat Kataria, Development Officer, Postal Life Insurance from Postal Department and Mr. Nishant Gupta, Branch Manager, HDFC and Smt. Aanchal Chopra, Corporate Salary Head, HDFC Bank. They told the faculty and staff about various saving schemes offered by Postal Department and HDFC Bank. They provided a detailed comparison of savings done with Postal Department and HDFC Bank. Sh. Vishal Mahajan from Postal Department told about the Life Insurance schemes of his department. Smt. Aanchal Chopra told about the various benefits offered by HDFC Bank to it’s A/C holders. The faculty and staff members enquired about various benefits of these saving schemes. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of Welfare Society and said that everyone should start saving some amount for a relaxing future after retirement. HMV organized this session for updating the saving options to its faculty and staff members. All the faculty and staff members attended this session. Stage was conducted by Dr. Sakshi Verma from Zoology Department.
