Designing Hub Society of Design Department of Hans
Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya conducted
a three days workshop on “Expressions 2024 – Entrepreneurs & Startups” in
collaboration with Pedilite under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Renowned artist Mrs. Navdeep Kaur & Mr. Vikas Vohra,
cluster market development officer from Pedilite were the resource persons of
the workshop. Various design possibilities and entrepreneur startup aspects
were discussed.
Creating Value, Innovations, Market expansions, Business plan, achieving
Financial Stability and establishing a brandwere discussed with students and
faculty. Various sustainable Products were created by students. Very important
principles of empathy, thinking and experiments with various mediums was the
objective of the workshop. Various textures, surfaces, effects etc are
developed by students. Paint surfaces, dyeing method are experimented to shape
the designer thinking. A fruitful workshop was end up with the word of
appreciation and enthusiasm with Principal Dr. Sareen. Head of Department Dr.
Rakhi Mehta discussed the startups for budding Designers in Design world during
workshop. and other faculty members. A MOU was also signed successfully on last day
of the workshop with Pidilite Industries Limited. Faculty of the Design
Department Ms. Manika , Ms. Ritika and
Ms. Ravneet Kaur also attended the workshop.
