A guest lecture was organized at Hans Raj Mahila Maha
Vidyalaya for the students of Diploma in Journalism and Media by Mass Comm.
Deptt. under the directions of Principal
Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj. Ms. Ramanpreet
Kaur, Director Shamsheer Communications Pvt. Ltd. was invited for giving the
enlightening session.
Ms.
Ramanpreet was facilitated by Mrs. Rama Sharma, Head, Deptt. of Journalism and
Video Production. She started the
session by educating the students on the basics of Journalism and working as a
part of media environment. She also
introduced them to the glossary of current media industry.
As the
lecture progressed Ms. Ramanpreet built an interactive session she asked
several questions to the students.
Furthermore, students presented their queries about the media industry.
Ms.
Ramanpreet explained about the organizational set up of media house. She gave tips on media management. The session ended with an inspiration to
adhere to ethical guidelines in professional life. Ms. Chetandeep was also present there.
