The faculty of science of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya
organized an International Seminar on Career opportunities after science
graduation overseas. Dr. (Mrs.) Vishakha
Chopra Sabharwal from Boston University , Boston
was the resource person. She is the recipient
of Award of Excellence by infectious diseases society for her work. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and
faculty of science welcomed the resource person. Principal Dr. Sareen encouraged the students
to work hard with full dedication. Dr.
Vishakha Chopra Sabharwal motivated students for adopting project based learning
with through understanding of subject matter.
She also explained the importance of ethics in research. She also laid stress on making efforts for
research opportunities overseas. On this
occasion, Dr. Meenakshi Syal, Mrs. Rakesh Uppal, Dr. Neelam Sharma and Mrs.
Binoo Gupta were present. Stage was
conducted by Dr. Ekta Khosla. The
seminar was concluded by vote of thanks by Dr. Meenakshi Syal.
ਹੰਸਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ ਜੰਲਧਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਸਨਾਤਕ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਿਅਰ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਬਾੱਸਟਨ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ ਦੀ ਬਾਲ ਮਾਹਰ ਡਾ. ਵਿਸ਼ਾਖਾ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਸਭਰਵਾਲ ਮੁੱਖ ਵਕਤਾ ਸੀ। ਡਾ. ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਲ ਰੋਗਾਂ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਨੀਯ ਕਾਰਜ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਕੰਮ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਡਾ. ਵਿਸ਼ਾਖਾ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੋ੍ਰਜੈਕਟ ਬੇਸਡ ਲਰਨਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੋਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸੋਧ ਗੁਣਵਤਾ ਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸੁਝਾਅ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਡਾ. ਮੀਨਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਿਆਲ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਰਕੇਸ਼ ਉਪੱਲ, ਡਾ. ਨੀਲਮ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਡਾ. ਏਕਤਾ ਖੋਸਲਾ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਾ. ਮੀਨਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਿਆਲ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।
