The Postgraduate Department of Hindi of Hans Raj Mahila Maha
Vidyalaya organized an extension lecture on the topic Career opportunities in
Hindi: with special context to Translation under the able guidance of Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The
resource person was Dr. Sudha Jitendra, HOD Hindi, Guru Nanak Dev University
Amritsar. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.)
Ajay Sareen welcomed her with a bouquet of flowers. Dr. Sudha Jitendra addressed the students and
said that we should know the language before getting job in the field as
language is our pride, values and culture.
80% population of our country speaks Hindi language and there are lot of
career opportunities in Hindi language.
In the field of translation, Hindi language is at the top. In Film Industry, communication modes,
newspapers, government offices, computers, writing, advertising, Hindi has lot
of scope.
