The Home Sc. Department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya
organized a workshop-cum-Interactive Session on Aviation, Catering and
Hospitality. In this workshop, the
students of R.R. Bawa DAV College For Girls Batala were participated. This
workshop was organized under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.)
Ajay Sareen. This workshop was divided
in two sessions. In the first session,
the students explored knowledge about Aviation Industry along with its market
scope. They also got knowledge about
different kind of food served in airlines with techniques of serving and
general manners used in Hospitality and Catering. In second session, they learnt different
techniques of Napkin folding and arrangement of table with culinary
skills. This workshop was attended by
approx. 35 students along with their teachers.
Principal Prof. Dr. Ajay Sareen congratulated them on the successful
completion of workshop. On this occasion
Mrs. Ramnita Saini Sharda, Mrs. Veena Arora, Mrs. Shallu Dua, Ms. Kiranjit and
Priyanka were also present.
