A 10-day Youth Leadership Camp was organized by Youth Service Punjab at
Naggar, Manali (HP) in which 3 students of HMV Collegiate
Sr. Sec. School
were selected out of 175 students from 22 schools. All the selected students were further
divided into four groups namely Bebe Nanki House, Mata Gujri House, Mai Bhago
House, Gadri Gulab Kaur House. Nitjap,
student of SSC II Commerce was selected as second leader of Bebe Nanki House,
Rashmeet Kaur, SSC II Commerce was selected second leader of Mata Gujri
House. Students participated in various
activities like Poster Making, Painting, Slogan Writing, Pencil Sketch, Story
Writing, Poem Writing and Drama. Nitjap
got first prize in Pencil Sketch, Rashmeet Kaur and Ananniya Rai got second
prize in Slogan Writing and Poster Making.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the students and
she inspired the students to participate in such camps for their holistic
growth. Dean Youth Welfare Mrs. Navroop
and Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal interacted with the participating students
and they shared their thrilling experiences.
