The NCC cadets of Hans Raj
Mahila Maha Vidyalaya has taken another step in serving the nation in the times
of COVID-19 pandemic. ANO Lt. Sonia Mahendru and cadets of Hans Raj Mahila Maha
Vidyalaya volunteered for Exercise NCC Yogdan under the guidelines of DGNCC.
ANO and cadets have undergone an Integrated Government Online Training popular
as iGOT before deployment on ground. Cadets performed task of maintaining
social distancing of 3 meters outside and inside premises of Punjab National
Bank branch at HMV College. The location was visited by group commander brig.
Advitya Madan NCC group headquaters Jalandhar and Commanding officer Col Jasbir
Singh 2 Pb Girls BN NCC Jalandhar. To ensure safety of cadets, Masks and Gloves were provided to them.
Principal HMV appreciated the work of cadets and thanked the parents for
permitting their wards to serve mankind in such a critical environment. Group Commander Brig. Advitya Madan told that
ANO and every cadet got insurance cover of 50 lacs by Govt. of India.
