A father’s selfless
love is pivotal in nurturing the child and there could not be a more universal
celebration than the one that celebrates the accomplishments and efforts of fathers.
Celebrating the pious bond between a father and a daughter and honoring the
fathers, HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organized ‘Daddy and Me’ selfie
contest. The students clicked their selfies with their fathers, expressing
their explicable love and sentiments. Around 40 students participated in this
contest. This unique contest received overwhelming response from students as it
was the opportunity for them to make their fathers feel special as they are the
greatest gift of god. The selfie of Damini Sharma of SSC-1 (Comm) was selected
as one of the best selfies. On this occasion, Principal Dr. (Mrs) Ajay Sareen
inspired students to respect their fathers as they stand by them, through thick
and thin and sacrifice their comfort to provide the best to their children.
School coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal appreciated the efforts of students and
motivated them to acknowledge the unconditional love and efforts of their
fathers. Mrs. Rama Sharma (HOD, Mass Communication Deptt.) judged the contest.
Ms. Richa (Commerce Deptt.) was the incharge
of the event.
