To invoke the true
spirit of dancing and to provide an opportunity to students to showcase their
hidden potential an Inter-class Solo Online Dance competition ‘Pratibha Khoj
2020 was organized by HMV Collegiate School under the dynamic guidance of
Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The effervescent
dancers sent the video recordings of their energetic dance performances, doning
colorful attires based on their dance forms. Around 30 students participated in
this competition. The competition was judged by Dr. Pooja Minhas (HOD Dance
Department). In this competition Himani of SSC II (Arts) got first position.
She represented the joyous spirit and valor of Punjab through Bhangra, Sakshi
of SSC II (Com.) got second position for her Garhwali performance and Damini
Sharma of SSC I(Com.) got third position for her amazing Semi classical dance.
School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal appreciated the dance performances of
the students and encouraged them to participate more in such kind of
competitions to enhance their talent. The incharge of the event was Ms. Richa (Lecturer
in Commerce).
