The
PG department of Punjabi of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a webinar
on “Empowering positivity in the time of Pandemic” through zoom app under the
able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen and HOD Punjabi Mrs.
Navroop Kaur. The resource person of the webinar was Dr. Sukhjeet Kaur Aujla,
Department of Extension and Communication, Punjab Agricultural University,
Ludhiana. In her address, Dr. Aujla told the participants about how to maintain
physical, mental and emotional stability in the time of COVID-19. She said that
the students must do exercise regularly, read good literature, get more
knowledge from the experience of their elders, learn to do household chores and
keep themselves busy. She advised that only creative work can save us from
mental stress given by this pandemic.
Principal
Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen while addressing the students said that we should
try to learn something good even from the hardest time of our life. She said
that this corona phase is very difficult but we can try to be happy by being
positive. She said that we should follow certain rules in order to be safe from
this disease. Head of Punjabi Department Mrs. Navroop Kaur encouraged the
students to be emotionally strong in this tough time. She also encouraged them
to prepare for their final exams with hard work and avoid stress. The
participants asked their queries from the resource person. Webinar Coordinator
Mrs. Satinder Kaur said that webinars on such topics are the need of the hour.
Faculty members of Punjabi department Mrs. Veena Arora, Mrs. Kuljit Kaur, Dr.
Sandeep Kaur, Dr. Harpreet Kaur, Ms. Manpreet Kaur, Ms. Pawandeep Kaur also
participated in this webinar.
