COVID-19 can not stop its pace. With the determination to overcome every
challenge, HMV has started with its new session by seeking the blessings of the
Almighty. The inaugural Havan Yajna was organised by observing the guidelines
of social distancing. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen extended a cordial
welcome to Sh. Ashok Pruthi and Sh. Ajay Goswami from the Local Managing
Committee. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen enthusiastically announced
that the college has taken a huge leap got second rank in India and first rank
in Punjab in Skill and Vocational Education by Education World Portal. It is a
moment of great pride that Dr. Ajay Sareen has been conferred with the award of
Iconic women by Economic Forum. She acknowledged the contribution and support
of every person in making HMV a great name in the field of education. Sh. Ashok
Pruthi gave his blessings saying that HMV is a pioneer in the field of women
education and empowerment. Sh. Ajay Goswami congratulated the institution for
its glorious achievements and called it the result of the selfless efforts of
the HMV family. Dr. Kanwaldeep, Dean Academics motivated the members to work
diligently in the tough times. The occasion also witnessed the release of HMV
News, College Prospectus and Hostel Prospectus. The vote of thanks was
presented by Mrs. Mamta, Dean Vedic Studies. The Havan was led by Dr. Meenu Talwar
and the stage was hosted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia.
