A teacher is a brilliant light that illuminates the prism of life and
reveals the rainbow of opportunities to the students. To honor and acknowledge
the challenges, hardships and role of the teachers, HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec.
School celebrated Teachers’ Day on virtual platform. Under the staunch guidance
of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, the event began with the traditional
lamp lighting ceremony followed by Gayatri Mantra. To celebrae this day, the
students outpoured their feelings, appreciation and gratitude to their teachers
in the form of poems, speeches and songs. Although they were stuck indoors due
to pandemic still they made the day most memorable one for their teachers. On
this occasion, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen felicitated students for
their scintillating performances and lauded the contribution of teachers as
true mentors during Covid-19 and appreciated their dedication and patience to
teach sharp, inquisitive and real go getters. School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi
Sayal also expressed sincere gratitude to all the teachers for being the true
mentors and role models. The students prepared beautiful cards with lovely
messages. Ms. Richa (Commerce Department) was the event incharge. Technical
support for online event was provided by Mr. Vidhu Vohra, Mr. Rishabh Dhir and
Mr. Arvind Chandi. Stage was conducted by Mrs. Jaspreet Kaur (English
Department). On this occasion all the faculty members from collegiate school
were also present.
