HMV Collegiate School celebrated the profound love of Mothers on Mother’s Day

 



            HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec.School celebrated the ravishing love of mothers on the wonderful occasion of Mother’s Day under the benign blessings and vibrant leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen on virtual platform.

            The fragrance of profound love of mothers and daughters became complementary with delectable aroma as the students along with their mothers participated with jubilation and zeal participated in the competition. “Cooking Without Fire” organised to honour mothers and motherhood. In this competition, they prepared a vegetarian dish, having nutritions value without using fire. They sent the videos while preparing the dish along with the picture of themselves with their mothers. More than 60 students bubbling with fervour and energy participated in it. The judges of the competition Mrs. Divya Chadha and Ms. Richa were overwhelmed with the enthusiastic spirits of the participants. According to them, all the dishes were innovative and well-presented. The first position was bagged by Khushi of SSC- II (Commerce), second by Namanpreet of SSC-I (Non-Medical) and the third by Rakhi of SSC-II (Arts). Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen wished all the mothers Happy Mother’s Day and applauded their strength and determination. She appreciated the culinary innovation of all students participated in the event. She congratulated the school coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal for organizing such sort of activity to cherish the everlasting bond of love and affection in concurrent with unveiling of creative skills of the students. The school coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal thanked all the participants and emphasized that these kinds of activities and celebrations provide an opportunity to young budding learners to showcase their creative potential which help them in their holistic growth. These events also sensitise the students about the delicacy dwells between a mother and child that make them morally and ethically strong.
