HMV Alumnae Welfare Association (Regd.) launched The Teaser, Poster and Song of A Documentary Film dedicated to HMV, “HAMARI DHAROHAR-OUR ALMA MATER OUR PRIDE”. This film is being directed by Ms. Beenu Rajpoot of Rajpoot films, produced by HMV Alumnae Welfare Association (Regd.) was done at Hans Raj MahilaMahaVidyalaya, Jalandhar. The lyrics of the song Hamari Chahat Hamara Armaan Hai tu” has been given by Mrs. Kuljeet Kaur Athwal, Sung by eminent singer Jayati Gangani & Music composed by Pt. Madho Prasad and the script is written by Dr. Jyoti Gogia. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen accorded a green welcome to the chief guest of the occasion Mr. Bawa Henry MLA, Mrs. Seerat Henry and distinguished alumnae present for the occasion. She stated with pride that rich heritage and legacy of HMV which is now almost 100 years old, along with its achievements will be showcased in the documentary and marked it as historic event.She applauded the contribution of Mrs. Binoo Gupta Secretary, HMV Alumnae Welfare Association and whole team for commendable efforts put in to bring it into reality. She extended felicitation to Ms. Beenu Rajpoot for her immense sincerity, commitment and dedication towards her work for the documentary. On this occasion she also highlighted the activities of HMV Alumnae Welfare Association like Udaan Scholarship which provides financial support, mentoring, training, placement, expertise to needy girls and boost up their confidence. She emphasized that girls have to be made financially independent and provided a secured environment. The institution always works in this direction. The chief guest Mr. Bawa Henry MLA Jalandhar who is dynamic leader considered as Youth Iconreleased the teaser and poster of Hamari Dharohar and on this occasion expressed that HMV is an inspiration in itself. Teachers are torch bearers helping in uplifting the progress of girls in our society. His main emphasis was on increasing gross happiness index and to highlight Jalandhar at international level. He congratulated Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and faculty for the documentary. Ms. Beenu Rajpoot Director of documentary wished that it would be an AWARD winning documentary and she will continue to be associated with Hmv family and will provide full support. Madam KiranpreetDhami Vice President,HMV Alumnae Welfare Association shared her thoughts and said that in order to make our coming generation value oriented HMV is doing lot and this launch will definitely contribute the feeling of dedication and commitment in young hearts. Mrs. Sarojini Gautam Sharda Retired PCS is also an executive member and alumnae and presently has completed her course in Mental Health and Counselling by securing top position. She inspires others that age is just a number. We can do anything if we are dedicated. She appreciated the faculty and said the institution has best faculty. Patron of Hmv Alumnae Welfare Association Ms. RashmiKhurana and Ms. Vinni Joshi Kalia joined from UK on Zoom and extended their happiness on the launch. The stage was beautifully conducted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia. Members of governing body- Secretary Mrs. Binoo Gupta, Joint Secretary Mrs. Savita Mahendru, Treasurer Mrs. Kajal Puri and all executive members Mrs. Jyoti Kaul, Mrs. Deepshikha, Dr. Rama Chaudhary, Dr. Kulwinder Dip Kaur, Mrs. Suman Lata Goyal, Mrs. Roopali Kohli, Mrs. Prabhsimran, Supdt.
