HMV Collegiate Senior Secondary School organized a Declamation
and Essay Writing Competition on the death anniversary of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar
under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The main
objective of the event was to make the students aware of the philosophy and
ideals of the great wise scholar and the creator of Indian Constitution.
Students of SSC-I and SSC-II participated enthusiastically in it. Tanvi and
Arshdeep won first prize in Declamation and Ashu and Sehaj Vij won first prize
in Essay Writing Competition. The winners were awarded with certificates by Sh.
Vishesh Sarangal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen
congratulated the winning students and said that they too should be inspired by
their lives and achieve success by continuously mo ving ahead on the path of
life. She inspired the students to imbibe his ideals in their lives and said
that such competitions should be organized in future also so that the students
can grow holistically. Dr. Seema Marwaha, School Coordinator, congratulated the
winning students and said that Baba Sahib was not only the creator of the
Indian Constitution but was also a popular economist, politician and social
reformer.
