A colourful and vibrant event named ‘Shagufta’ was organized to welcome the new entrants of SSC I under the visionary guidance of Principal Prof. Dr.
The vivacious students put up a magnificent show displaying their talent in the form of dances, bhangra, songs and poems. The new students showed their enthusiasm by participating in different games organized by the host students.
Explaining the meaning of Shagufta which is a prayer to blossom, flourish and progress, Principal Dr. Sareen inspired the students to work hard and lead pious lives. Highlighting the glorious history of DAV institutions she said that it is through amalgamation of traditions and modernism that it is through amalgamation of traditions and modernism that the organization has achieved the status of largest non-profitable organization serving the cause of education. Saying that education is the journey from being a person to being human, she added that its only through female education we can give a positive direction to the community and eradicate all the evils from the society. She blessed the students with success and glory believing that they would imbibe the good values imparted to them. The glamour and capability of students were adjudged in three rounds by Dr. Ashmeen, Dr. Nidhi and Mrs. Renu Singla. Grabbing the spotlight Gunraaj bagged the title of Ms. Freshers. Sejal became Ms. Elegant, Nikita won the title of Ms. Professional, Ms. Gravity was Tanmanpreet. Jasmine became the second runners up and Prabhmeet became the first runners up.
The winners were crowned and presented with gifts by Dr. Sareen and other teachers. Principal Dr. Sareen applauded the efforts of Mrs. Meenakshi and her team for the success of the event. The stage was conducted by Harishita, Dhreeti, Kritagyta and Kashish. Tarunika and Kritika also expressed their views on the occasion. Mrs. Jyotika Minhas, Mrs. Jaspreet, Mrs. Anuradha, Mrs. Lovleen, Ms. Arvinder and other teachers of the collegiate school were present on this occasion.

ਸਿਆਲ ਤੇ ਡੀਨ ਸਟੂਡੇਂਟ ਕੌਂਸਿਲ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਉਰਵਸ਼ੀ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ ਨੇ ਪਲਾਂਟਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ
ਦਾ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੰਗਲਮਈ ਜੋਤੀ ਜਗਾਈ ਗਈ ਤੇ ਡੀ.ਏ.ਵੀ ਗਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦਾ
ਆਰੰਭ ਹੋਇਆ। ਹਰਸ਼ਿਤਾ +2 ਆਰਟਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਿੱਠੇ
ਬੋਲਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਏ ਹੋਏ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਡਾਂਸ,
ਮਾਡਲਿੰਗ, ਗੀਤ ਤੇ ਭੰਗੜਾ ਆਦਿ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਮੁਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਡਾ. ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ
ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਉੱਨਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਦੇ ਆਪਸੀ
ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਏ ਰੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਮਰਿਆਦਾ ਤੇ ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ, ਪਰਿਵਾਰ
ਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਬਣਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਚੰਗੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ
ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਕਿਏ। ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਨਤਾ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ
ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਜ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ 1000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਡੀ.ਏ.ਵੀ
ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਥਾਨ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ +1 ਤੇ +2 ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ
ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਤੇ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਹਿਣ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਭੱਵਿਖ ਦੀ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਾਡਲਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਧ-ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। +1

ਦਾ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਡੀਨ ਡਿਸੀਪਲਿਨ ਡਾ. ਆਸ਼ਮੀਨ ਕੌਰ, ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀਅਨ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ
ਰੇਣੂ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ ਤੇ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਵਿਭਾਮ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਨਿਧੀ ਬੱਲ ਨੇ ਜੱਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਮੰਚ ਦਾ
ਸੰਚਾਲਨ +2 ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਧਰੀਤੀ, ਹਰਸ਼ੀਤਾ, ਕਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਤਗਤਾ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ। +1 ਤੇ +2 ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਤਰੁਨੀਕਾ ਤੇ ਕਾਸ਼ਮਨ ਨੇ
ਆਪਣੇ ਅਨੁਭਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ
ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਮੀਨਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਿਆਲ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਉਰਵਸ਼ੀ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਰਜਕ੍ਰਮ ਦੀ
ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਲਈ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। +2 ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਦੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਤਕਾ ਨੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ
ਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਜੋਤੀਕਾ ਮਿਨਹਾਸ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਲਵਲੀਨ ਤੇ ਕਾਲਜੀਏਟ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ
