Maha Vidyalaya organized Aero Modelling
Show. Brig. Harmeet Singh Chatwal,
Mrs. Parveen Chatwal, Wing Commander Sh. S.K. Sharma and Col. Jasbir Singh
graced the occasion. Different aero
models were exhibited for the students.
The cadets of Air Wing flew models of air crafts and gave information
about the working of different air crafts.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of the
cadets and encouraged them to join air force as pilots. Brig. HMS Chatwal motivated the students to
join the armed forces and to inculcate self confidence. He said that all the students should repeat
few principles daily. It is my day, I am
the best, God is with me, I can do it.
He also motivated the students to plant atleast one tree, save atleast a
person from drug abuse and motivate the drug peddlers to leave the drugs and
lead a healthy life. Wing Commander S.K.
Sharma motivated the girl cadets to come forward and join the aero
modelling. On this occasion, they also
planted tree in the college sports ground.
The cadets celebrated Raksha Bandhan by tying Rakhis on wrist of Brig.
HMS Chatwal, army and air officer and all the jawans present on the
occasion. The function was enlivened by
the patriotic performance by the students of Performing Arts department.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ (ਏਯਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਮੀ ਵਿੰਗ) ਵੱਲੋਂ ਏਯਰੋਮਾਡਲਿੰਗ ਸ਼ੋ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਗੇਡਿਯਰ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਐਸ ਛਤਵਾਲ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਵੀਣ ਛਤਵਾਲ, ਵਿੰਗ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਐਸ.ਕੇ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਨਲ ਜਸਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੁਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਪੁੱਜੇ। ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਏਯਰੋਮਾਡਲ ਵੀ ਏਗਜੀਬਿਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
ਏਯਰ ਵਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਕੈਡੇਟਸ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਏਯਰ ਕ੍ਰਾਫਟ ਦੇ ਮਾਡਲ ਉਡਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਏਯਰ ਕ੍ਰਾਫਟਸ ਦੀ ਵਰਕਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ 'ਚ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਕੈਡੇਟਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੋਤਸਾਹਨ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਏਯਰ ਫੋਰਸ ਜਵਾਇਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਬ੍ਰਿਗੇਡਿਯਰ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਐਸ ਛਤਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਰਮਡ ਫੋਰਸਾਂ ਜਵਾਇਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਤਮਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਭਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਅਫਜਾਹੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਬ੍ਰਿਗੇਜਿਯਰ ਛਤਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਦੋਹਰਾਇਆ ਕਰਨ 'ਆਈ ਐਮ ਦ ਬੈਸਟ ਐਂਡ ਗੋਡ ਇਜ਼ ਵਿਦ ਮੀ, ਆਈ ਕੈਨ ਡੂ ਇਟ'। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਤਮਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘੱਟ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਇਕ ਪੌਧਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਵਿੰਗ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਐਸ.ਕੇ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਏਯਰੋ ਮਾਡਲਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ 'ਚ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਗ੍ਰਾਉਂਡ 'ਚ ਪੌਧਾਰੋਪਣ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਗੇਡਿਯਰ ਛਤਵਾਲ, ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਰਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਏਯਰ ਆਫਿਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਲਾਈਆਂ ਤੇ ਰੱਖੜੀਆਂ ਸਜਾਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਬੰਧਨ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਵੀ ਮਣਾਇਆ। ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ।
