Quiz Team of HMV brought laurels in ‘Gyanmanthan – 2018’

Two quiz teams of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya participated in Inter State Quiz competition ‘Gyanmanthan – 2018’ organized by University Business School, Panjab University Regional Campus, Ludhiana.  Total 42 teams from different states participated in this event.  Total four rounds were conducted consisting of preliminary written test, quarter finals, semi finals and finals.  Mrs. Binoo Gupta, Quiz Incharge told that our teams comprising of Shivani of B.A.    Sem.III Jasleen of B.A.Sem.I and Muskan of M.Com.I brought the laurels of bagging second runner’s up position.  They were awarded with certificates, individual trophies, gift vouchers of Rs.1500/- and also cash prizes of Rs.2000/-.  Our second team comprising of Shalini of B.A.Sem.III, Arshia of B.Sc. Sem. III and Gulfam Virdi of M.Com.II was also shortlisted in top eight teams.  Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the teams and teachers.  Mrs. Binoo Gupta, Incharge Quiz, Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dr. Rajiv Kumar and Mrs. Anchal were also present.

ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਂਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਕਵਿਜ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਬਿਜਨਸ ਸਕੂਲ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਰਿਜਨਲ ਕੈਂਪਸ, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਇੰਟਰ ਸਟੇਟ ਕਵਿਜ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਗਿਆਨਮੰਥਨ-2018 'ਚ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਰੋਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਰਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ 42 ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ 'ਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਕਵਿਜ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਬੀਨੂ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਟੀਮ 'ਚ ਸ਼ਿਵਾਨੀ, ਜਸਲੀਨ ਤੇ ਮੁਸਕਾਨ ਨੇ ਸੈਕੰਡ ਰਨਰ ਅਪ ਪੋਜੀਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ, ਟ੍ਰਾਫੀ, 1500 ਰੁਪੈ. ਦਾ ਗਿਫਟ ਵਾਉਚਰ ਤੇ 2000 ਰੁਪੈ. ਕੈਸ਼ ਇਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਦੂਜੀ ਟੀਮ 'ਚ ਸ਼ਾਲਿਨੀ, ਅਰਸ਼ਿਆ ਤੇ ਗੁਲਫਾਮ ਵਿਰਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਵਓਤਮ ਅੱਠ ਟੀਮਾਂ 'ਚ ਸ਼ਾਰਟਲਿਸਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਡਾ. ਅੰਜਨਾ ਭਾਟਿਆ, ਡਾ. ਰਾਜੀਵ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਤੇ ਆਂਚਲ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
