Quiz team of HMV got selected for State Level competition

The quiz team of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya once again brought laurels to the college.  Four students of the college participated in district level Punjabi Quiz competition organized by Jalandhar District Language Department at SD Phullarwan School, Jalandhar and got selected for state level competition which is going to be organized by Punjab State Language Deptt., Patiala.  In school category of 9^th to 12^th class competition Tarunika of Arts, HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School won 1^st prize.  She was awarded with cash prize of Rs.600/- and merit certificate.  In college category competition, Ms. Ramanjot of B.Com. Sem. V won first prize.  She was awarded with cash prize of Rs.1000/- and a merit certificate.  Ms. Kirandeep of BBA Sem. V won second prize.  She was awarded cash prize of Rs.750/- and a merit certificate.  Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the team and encouraged the students to work hard for the state level competition.  Quiz Incharge Mrs. Binoo Gupta also congratulated the students for their success.  On this occasion, Dean Youth Welfare Mrs. Navroop, Coordinator HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal, Dr. Anjana Bhatia were also present.

ਹੰਸਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੀ ਕਵਿਜ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਰੋਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਐਸ.ਡੀ. ਫੁਲੱਰਵਰਨ ਸਕੂਲ 'ਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਜ਼ਿਲਾ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਕਵਿਜ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ 'ਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ 'ਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਥਾਂ ਬਣਾਈ। ਇਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਨੌਂਵੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਵੀਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼੍ਰਣੀ 'ਚ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ. ਕਾਲਜੀਏਟ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ 10+1 ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਤਰੂਣਿਕਾ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਹੀ। ਉਸਨੂੰ 600 ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਨਕਦ ਇਨਾਮ ਤੇ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਕਾਲਜ ਕੈਟੇਗਰੀ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ 'ਚ ਬੀ.ਕਾੱਮ ਸਮੈ.5 ਦੀ ਰਮਨਜੋਤ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਹੀ। ਉਸਨੂੰ 1000 ਦਾ ਨਕਦ ਇਨਾਮ ਤੇ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।  ਬੀਬੀਏ ਸਮੈ.5 ਦੀ ਕਿਰਨਦੀਪ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਹੀ। ਉਸਨੂੰ 750 ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਨਕਦ ਇਨਾਮ ਤੇ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਤੇ ਆਗਾਮੀ ਰਾਜ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ 'ਚ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਵਿਜ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਬੀਨੂੰ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਕੋ-ਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਮੀਨਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਿਆਲ, ਡੀਨ ਯੂਥ ਵੈਲਫੇਅਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਨਵਰੂਪ ਤੇ ਡਾ. ਅੰਜਨਾ ਭਾਟਿਆ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
