HMV students enthralled on Sharry Maan’s songs

The excitement of the students buzzed full volume during the colourful event organized under the benevolence of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.  The occasion witnessed the presence of renowned Punjabi Folk Singer and Actor Sharry Maan as the Chief Guest.  The whole event was arranged by Dean Youth Welfare Deptt. Mrs. Navroop Kaur and Coordinator Dr. Nidhi Bal and Miss Shama Sharma.

            Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed and honoured the guest by presenting the traditional Phulkari.  His visit in the college premises was part of his promotional campaign for his upcoming movie ‘Marriage Palace’.  The star performer combines singing with acting and created sensation with his debut song ‘Yaar Anmulle’.

            Expressing galore of her love, Dr. Sareen conveyed her best wishes to the students for their university examinations.  She also congratulated the star cast for their movie which includes HMV alumni Ekta Gulati.  Ekta Gulati recalled her college days and said that HMV is the best.  Sharry Maan in his affable tone wished the best to the students and motivated them.  The students danced to the tune of the song of his movie released on the occasion.  He recited his famous songs on the demands of the students.  The stage was hosted by RJ Rajan and RJ Reet from the Radio City along with Dr. Nidhi Bal.  The members of the teaching and non teaching staff were also present on the occasion.
