Celebration of Basant Panchmi at HMV

The Basant Panchmi Festival was celebrated in the morning assembly by Student Council of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya.  Saraswati Pujan was done by the Head of the institute Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.  The students of Music Vocal department recited Saraswati Vandana.  On this occasion, the students of Student Council prepared and distributed the Prasadam (sweet yellow rice) to Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, Dean Academics Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur, Head Music Vocal Dept. Dr. Prem Sagar, Head Music Instl. Dept. Dr. Santosh Khanna, Dean Student Council Mrs. Urvashi Mishra and Head Girl Geetanjali.  The teachers and students were wearing yellow clothes and offered flowers to Maa Saraswati.  Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that Student Council has organized this Pujan as per the Indian traditions.  Saraswati is the goddess of art and wisdom.  We are worshipping her and seeking her blessings for future endeavours.

ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਪਰਿਸ਼ਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਥਨਾ ਸਭਾ 'ਚ ਬਸੰਤ ਪੰਚਮੀ ਦਾ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਮਨਾਇਆ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਰਸਵਤੀ ਪੂਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸੰਗੀਤ ਗਾਇਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਰਸਵਤੀ ਵੰਦਨਾ ਗਾਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਪਰਿਸ਼ਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦ (ਮੀਠੇ ਪੀਲੇ ਚਾਵਲ) ਵੰਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ, ਡੀਨ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਡਾ. ਕੰਵਲਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਗਾਇਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਮੁਖੀ ਡਾ. ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸਾਗਰ, ਸੰਗੀਤ ਵਾਦਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਮੁਖੀ ਡਾ. ਸੰਤੋਸ਼ ਖੰਨਾ, ਡੀਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਪਰਿਸ਼ਦ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਉਰਵਸ਼ੀ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ, ਹੈਡ ਗਰਲ ਗੀਤਾਂਜਲੀ, ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾ ਨੇ ਪੀਲੇ ਕਪੜੇ ਪਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਾਂ ਸਰਸਵਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਫੁੱਲ ਭੇਂਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਝੁਕਾਇਆ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰ. ਡਾ. ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਪਰਿਸ਼ਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਹ ਉਤਸਵ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਮਾਂ ਸਰਵਸਤੀ ਕਲਾ ਤੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਦੇਵੀ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੰਦਨਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਭੱਵਿਖ 'ਚ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਦੀ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
