The
Student Council and Multimedia Club of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya
celebrated International Water Day by organizing various Inter-class
competitions like Paper Presentation, Poetry Recitation, Slogan Writing,
Handmade and Digital Poster Making, Handmade and Digital Logo Designing and
Photography on the theme ‘Water is Life-Save it’. These events were adjudged by students only. Gulfam Virdi, PG Head Girl and Geetanjali, UG
Head Girl were judges for Paper Presentation, Poetry and Slogan Writing. Tanya of BFA and Simran Thukral of BD were
the judges for Poster Making, Logo Designing and Photography. Ragini, Abha and Ankita won the first, second
and third position respectively in Slogan Writing; Jaspreet, Neeta and
Harmehakpreet won first, second and third position respectively in Paper
Presentation; Shipra Rana, Bhavika and Disha Dhir secured first, second and
third positions in Poetry Recitation; Ragini, Lakshmi and Jyotsna won positions
in Handmade poster making; Rupinder won first position in Logo Designing;
Radhika in Photography and Gurveen, Yogita and Amritpal secured first, second
and third position in Digital Poster Making.

Dr. Sareen appreciated the students for their efforts and motivated them to
take little steps to save water when and wherever is possible as there is no
life without water.
On this occasion, the members of
Student Council distributed stickers on Save Water and the rally was also held
in which the Head of the institute Prof. Dr. (Mrs.)

ਹੰਸਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਟੂਡੈਂਟ ਕੌਂਸਿਲ ਅਤੇ ਮਲਟੀਮੀਡੀਆ ਕਲੱਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਜਲ ਦਿਵਸ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਅਜੈ ਸਰੀਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਹੇਠ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਅਲੱਗ-ਅਲੱਗ ਇੰਟਰ ਕਲਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੇਪਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਜਨਟੇਸ਼ਨ, ਕਵਿਤਾ ਉੱਚਾਰਣ, ਸਲੋਗਨ ਰਾਈਟਿੰਗ, ਹੈਂਡਮੇਡ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ, ਹੈਂਡਮੇਡ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਲੋਗੋ ਡਿਜਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਫੋਟੋਗਰਾਫੀ ਆਦਿ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ‘ਵਾਟਰ ਇਜ ਲਾਈਫ -ਸੇਫ ਇਟ' ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਤੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਨ•ਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਧ-ਚੜ• ਕੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਹਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪੇਪਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਜਟਨਟੇਸ਼ਨ, ਕਵਿਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਲੋਗਨ ਰਾਈਟਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੱਜ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਪੀਜੀ ਹੈਡ ਗਰਲ ਗੁਲਫਾਮ ਵਿਰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਜੀ ਹੈਡ ਗਰਲ ਗੀਤਾਂਜਲੀ ਨੇ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਤਾਨਯਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਠੁਕਰਾਲ ਨੇ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ, ਲੋਗੋ ਡਿਜਾਈਨਿੰਗ, ਫੋਟੋਗ੍ਰਾਫੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਜ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਸਲੋਗਨ ਰਾਈਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਗਿਨੀ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਆਇਸ਼ਾ ਦੂਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਕਿਤਾ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਹੀਆਂ।
ਪੇਪਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਜਨਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਨੀਟਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਮਹਕਪ੍ਰੀਤ ´ਮਵਾਰ ਦੂਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਹੀਆਂ। ਪੋਇਟਰੀ ਰੇਸੀਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਿਪਰਾ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਭਾਵਿਕਾ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਧੀਰ ਨੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਹੈਂਡਮੇਡ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਗਿਨੀ, ਲਕਸ਼ਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਯੋਤਸਨਾ ´ਮਵਾਰ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਦੂਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਹੀਆਂ। ਲੋਗੋ ਡਿਜਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਧਿਕਾ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਫੋਟੋਗ੍ਰਾਫੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਧਿਕਾ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਡਿਜਿਟਲ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰਵੀਨ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਯੋਗਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਨੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਅਜੈ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਜਜ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਲ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਲ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕੱਲ• ਹੈ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਇਸ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਾਂਗਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਰੈਲੀ ਨਿਕਾਲ ਕੇ ਜਲ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸਦੇ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਜਲ ਬਚਾਓ ਥੀਮ ਉਪਰ ਸਟਿਕਰ ਵੀ ਵੰਡੇ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਡੀਨ ਸਟੂਡੈਂਟ ਕੌਂਸਿਲ ਉਰਵਸ਼ੀ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ, ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਮਲਟੀਮੀਡੀਆ ਕਲੱਬ ਆਸ਼ੀਸ਼ ਚੱਢਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਜ਼ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
