Golden Night organized for resident scholars of HMV

Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized Golden Night ‘Rukhsat 2019’ for the outgoing resident scholars under the stewardship of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and Resident Scholars Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal. The chief guest of the occasion was Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen. To grace the occasion, Dean Youth Welfare Mrs. Navroop Kaur, Dean Holistic Growth Mrs. Kuljit Kaur, Dr. Santosh Khanna, HOD Music Instrumental Department, Mrs. Urvashi Mishra, Dean Student Council, Dr. Anjana Bhatia, HOD Botany Department, Mr. Raman Behl (Supdt. General), Mr. Pankaj Jyoti (Supdt. Accounts), Mr. Lakhwinder Singh (Hostel Supdt.), Mr. Ravi Maini and members of Teaching and Non-teaching were present.   Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal extended a green welcome to the guests.

The students showcased their talent by displaying various cultural dance performances-Bhangra and Himachali folk dance. The outgoing students presented an emotional skit on their stay in the hostel. All glamorous girls graced the ramp in four different rounds of modelling. Ms. Harshavneet Kaur was selected as Ms. Farewell 2019. Ms. Kashmin was declared as 1^st runners up and Ms. Jasmeen Kaur was declared as 2^nd runners up. All the office bearers, proctors and task force students were honoured for their contribution in the hostel. Three students were honoured who enjoyed hostel life for seven years in HMV, right from SSC I till post graduation.

Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen gave her best wishes to the students. She motivated the students to be the role model for the other girls of the society. Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal thanked Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Sareen for sparing her time for the occasion. She added that resident scholars have special place in the heart of College Principal. She extended her warm wishes for the outgoing students. Along with this, she informed the students about various PG courses running in the college and motivated them to work hard and opt for higher studies. All the hostel wardens were present on this occasion. Ms. Muskaran PG Head Girl gave vote of thanks.
