The NCC Unit of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized NCC Awards Day 2019 to honour the achievements of NCC Cadets. On this occasion, the chief guest was Brig. Advitiya Madan, Group Commander, NCC Headquarter, Jalandhar. His wife Mrs. Nidhi Madan also accompanied him. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed them with planters. She told that Cadet Parneet Kaur of HMV participated in Republic Day Camp and attended PM Rally. She is also selected for Youth Exchange Programme. Cadet Nitika of NCC Air Wing also attended PM Rally at New Delhi. She also motivated the students for taking up NCC so that they can best serve their country. Brig. Madan said that NCC not only prepare cadets to join armed forces but also to become leaders in all the fields and excel. He said that he has gone to many institutes but HMV is the only institute in the region who recognize the achievements of NCC cadets by organizing awards day.
On this occasion, 50 cadets of NCC Army and Air Wing were honoured. They were awarded with trophies and certificates. Cadet Jaspreet Kaur was awarded with Best Cadet Army Wing Award. Cadet Veerpal Kaur was awarded with Best Cadet Air Wing Award.
On this occasion, NCC Coordinator Mrs. Saloni Sharma, Army Wing Incharge, Ms. Sonia Mahendru and Air Wing Incharge Mrs. Purnima Sharma were also present.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ ਦੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਯੂਨਿਟ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਅਵਾਰਡ ਡੇ 2019 ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਹੈਡਕਵਾਟਰ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਬ੍ਰਿਗੇਡੀਅਰ ਅਦਿਵਿਤਯ ਮਦਾਨ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨਿਧੀ ਮਦਾਨ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਪਿ³੍ਰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਪਲਾਂਟਰ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕੈਡੇਟ ਪ੍ਰਨੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਰਿਪਬਲਿਕ ਡੇ ਕੈਂਪ ਅਤੇ ਪੀ.ਐਮ. ਰੈਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਨੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਯੂਥ ਐਕਸਚੇਂਜ ਪ੍ਰੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਹੋਇਆ। ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਏਅਰ ਵਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਕੈਡੇਟ ਨਿਤੀਕਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਪੀ.ਐਮ.ਰੈਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ ਜੁਆਇੰਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਬ੍ਰਿਗੇਡੀਅਰ ਮਦਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਦਾ ਮਕਸਦ ਕੇਵਲ ਕੈਡੇਟਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੈਨਿਕ ਬਲ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਨਹÄ ਬਲਕਿ ਹਰ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਸ਼ਕਤ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ।
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੰਸਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ ਕੇਵਲ ਐਸੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਦੇ ਕੈਡੇਟਸ ਦੀ ਉਪਲੱਬਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਵਾਰਡਸ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਆਰਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਏਅਰ ਵਿੰਗ ਦੇ 50 ਕੈਡੇਟਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟਾਫੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ।
ਕੈਡਟ ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਬੈਸਟ ਕੈਡੇਟ ਆਰਮੀ ਵਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਡੇਟ ਵੀਰਪਾਲ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਬੈਸਟ ਕੈਡੇਟ ਏਅਰ ਵਿੰਗ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਸਲੋਨੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਆਰਮੀ ਵਿੰਗ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਸੋਨੀਆ ਮਹੇਂਦਰੂ, ਏਅਰ ਵਿੰਗ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਪੂਰਣੀਮਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
