HMV organized Vedic Chetna Shivir

A five days Vedic Chetna Shivir was organised for the students of SSC I and SSC II under the dynamic guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The sole objective for organizing the Chetna Shivir was to aware students about moral values, their role and responsibility for the country and culture and to understand the glory of India.

On the first day of this Shivir, the Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal and Incharge Mrs. Sunita Dhawan performed the ritual of offering and sublimating the Havana samagri into the Havana Kund, praying for the welfare and bright future of the students. Enlightening students Mrs. Sunita Dhawan inspired the students to follow the path of righteousness and the students chanted the Om mantra which filled the entire atmosphere with sanctity and purity. Thereafter Sh. Parduman started enchanting hymns which had deep, spiritual impact on the minds of students. The stage was conducted by Ms. Simmi Garg. On this occasion, Hostel warden Mrs. Kiran, Mrs. Veena and Dr. Jiwan Devi from Political Science Department were also present. The event ended with Shanti-Path and Prasad was served to all.
