Seven day Faculty Development Programme on Visual and Performing Arts successfully concluded on Tuesday, May 7, 2019. The program was organised by the departments of Fine Arts, Designing and Dance under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Eminent resource persons and professional artists threw light on latest techniques used around the world. In the morning session Mrs. Neetu Bhardwaj a renowned Graphics Designer explained the importance of 3D designing in the world of Arts, Music and Dance. In the Valedictory session Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen accorded a green welcome to the Chief Guest Dr. Sushma Chawla , a social activist and a benevolent personality. Dr. Ajay Sareen congratulated the convener Dr. Rakhi Mehta and Co-Convener Dr. Pooja and her team for the successful organization. She stressed upon the participants to adopt latest techniques and keep pace with the technology changing at a phenomenal rate. She also urged the participants to share and spread the knowledge they have gained during these seven days. Distributing and sharing knowledge broadens the horizon vertically as well as horizontally.
Dr. Sushma Chawla felt honoured to be a part of the HMV family and said that the institution is a source of inspiration for others. Sharing her experience she said that there is so much to learn and life seems too short for it. She gave some health tips and stressed upon the need of meditation and exercise.
The participants shared their views and positive feedback calling the FDP as a spectacular conjugation of different forms of Art. They enjoyed the fusion of music and brushes.
Dr. Pooja Manhas gave a vote of thanks. Dr. Ajay Sareen, Dr. Sushma Chawla, Dr. Rakhi Mehta and Dr. Santosh Khanna distributed certificates to the participants. On this occasion Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur, Dr. Ramnita Saini Sharda, Dr. Santosh Khanna, Dr. Prem Sagar, Dr. Neeru Bharti, Dr. Anshumati, Dr. Shalendra, Mr. Ashish, Mr. Rishabh, Ms. Nishita, Dr. Sarabjit, Ms. Suruchi, Ms. Surbhi. Ms. Kamalpreet were also present. The stage was conducted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia.
